About Yatin Purohit

Yatin Purohit is an independent technology consultant for IT Optimization and Business Productivity with an experience of over 20 years. Zofius Consulting (www.zofius.com), founded by Yatin, is a network of experienced professionals who specialize in implementing and customizing Microsoft Office 365 for small and large businesses.

Yatin was Principal Technology Strategist at Microsoft Corporation where he worked for 8 years with large enterprise customers and partners. In his prior role at Microsoft in Sales Excellence, he managed key organization scorecard metrics and consulted on Infrastructure Optimization (IO) framework. Yatin also headed the Technology Specialist team for West Region, and pan India established Management (System Center) and Security (ForeFront) solutions.

Prior to that Yatin was Director for Enterprise Solutions with a System Integrator based in New York, USA, where he set-up the Microsoft Center of Excellence. An early entrant in website solutions in 90s, Yatin as an entrepreneur founded Netcrawler.com that developed and hosted prestigious websites like IndiaYellowPages, Miss World, Swiss Post, The Bombay Stock Exchange, Disney India and The Economic Times. Netcrawler was merged with UTV in 1999 to become UTV Interactive.

Yatin has consulted and implemented multiple complex knowledge management and business productivity projects for large organizations and has been working on SharePoint since 2001. Training has always been a passion for Yatin and he is a prominent speaker at many industry events on varied topics including cloud, security and risk, project management, and of course, productivity solutions.

Yatin has also founded the company DocuMagic (www.documagic.in) which offers document management and content management solutions. DocuMagic provides outsourcing of high volume document scanning, building associated meta-tags for document retrieval including warehousing facilities. DocuMagic delivers end-to-end document management and knowledge management solutions on Microsoft platform.
